Mark Brookes

Director

Thirty years’ experience in the metals industry and over twenty years at board level both nationally and internationally.

Previous roles have included senior operations and commercial positions at the Cookson Group and Hays within its metals division.

In 2004, Mark joined Aleris International to oversee its UK operations before moving to Germany in late 2008 as Managing Director for Aleris Recycling Europe. There he was responsible for their European recycling facilities in Germany, UK and Norway producing over 500,000 tons of aluminium and magnesium products mainly for the transportation sector.

Elected as Chairman of the Aluminium Alloy Manufacturing and Recycling Association 2006-2008 and a director of Aluminium Federation 2010-2012, endorses Mark’s longstanding experience in the metals and recycling sectors.
